Normally, Simulink simulation result on scope background color is black and the result line is yellow. When we print the simulation result for printing and attach inside report, the graph is black and it is difficult to see the simulation result line. To obtain a simulation result with white background and black line, you will need to follow few steps below.

- Right click on any place inside Simulink page and select “Signal & Scope Manager…”
- Select Viewer >> Simulink >> Scope >> Attach to model ; then Scope will go to the right side.
- Right Click on scope >> Choose “Edit Signal Connections” and select the signal you want to see on scope >> close the box and run the simulation. See the result on scope.
- Unlike normal scope (black background & yellow signal line), it become (grey background & blue signal line)
- Capture the scope with print screen button on your keyboard and paste it on MS Word 2007. (Or you can paste in MS Paint first if you want to cut out the boundary. Then cut and paste to MS Word again)

6. After you paste on MS Word 2007, double click the image >> Click Recolor on upper left side >> Choose “Black & White” Block.
That’s it. I hope it will be useful if you want to print the graph in black & white.

The reason I’m showing the way is that, for the end-users like me and person who don’t know much about hardware, we can now aware of buying wrong system information by paying higher price. I think, it is rare to sell with wrong system information however, it can happen.
